Stock Availability

All products are subject to availability. Moto City will always contact you regarding unexpected delays or product changes after you have placed an order. Some items may take 2-3 days to source as not all items are located in our retail store.  Our website is updated regularly however from time to time when stock availability is low, a simulataneous order can occur which means one of the purchase parties may not be supplied.  It is always a priority to supply you with your goods as soon as possible.  If you have any questions, call our retail store direct on 07 927 1340, EXT 2.
 

Pricing

Moto City only ships within New Zealand and all prices are shown in NZ dollars and are GST inclusive. Prices in store and on motocity.co.nz are subject to change without prior notice. We will contact you regarding price changes at the time of order.  Should goods be less than advertised we will only charge you the lower amount.

 

Payment

Moto City accepts payments by Visa, MasterCard, Paypal and Bank Deposit. Our payment process is protected by 128 bit SSL technology via www.paymentexpress.com so you can be sure that your credit card details are absolutely safe and secure.  If your payment has been made by bank deposit, the funds need to be recieved and cleared before despatch/collection of goods.

 

Warranties

All the products we sell are backed by the manufacturer’s warranty service unless otherwise disclosed.  Any goods for possible warranty replacement must be returned to us with proof of purchase for warranty assessment and inspection within a fair and reasonable time frame. Items covered under manufacturer’s warranty will be repaired or replaced. Shipping and labour costs are not covered under any warranty. Any Damaged goods must be reported within 48 hours of receipt quoting invoice number and courier tracking number. This can be made by email or phone, with digital image showing damage. We will endeavour to remedy all disputes within 3 working days of notification. Postage costs on goods found to be damaged during delivery will be covered by Moto City.

Hard parts (engine parts, accessories etc) should be fitted by a repuatable, professional motorcycle dealership.  Any damage etc that may occur during fitting is not the responsibility of the seller to compensate.  Moto City offers a fitting service - call us for a quote.
 

Limitation of Liability

You may have the benefit of statutory guarantees under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. Unless you purchase any good or obtain any service for the purposes of a business, nothing in these terms and conditions will limit or exclude your rights under that Act. Where you do purchase, or obtain services for the purposes of a business, then the Consumer Guarantees Act statutory guarantees do not apply to your purchase and we exclude any liability of any kind (whether in contract, tort, equity or otherwise) to you or anyone claiming through you, relating to any loss of profits or revenue, loss of business or missed opportunities, wasted expenditure or savings you might have had, or any form of indirect or consequential loss whatsoever, arising from that purchase or the information contained within this website.
 

Items Specially ordered for you from Overseas

There are products that are obtained specially for you from overseas, such as Suzuki Genuine Parts and other items.  When this is the case, we will work with you to ensure that the goods obtained are the right ones as these items are to be paid in full before time of order and are non-refundable.  If you require anything that may be subject to availability, please contact us through our enquiry form or call us direct.

 

Returns

Moto City will honour returns so long as the goods are returned in a new, unused, unchanged condition with packaging in-tact.  Returns will be honoured if goods are returned within 14 clear days of date of despatch to you.  Returns will not be honoured for goods that were specially ordered in for you so please ensure you order the correct part/goods before ordering.  This is expecially important for any Suzuki Genuine parts that are ordered from Japan.  If goods are found to be faulty, we will refund your freight return cost. To commence the returns process email us at rider@motocity.co.nz with your invoice number and the reason for return.
 

Errors

We do our very best to ensure all information, products, descriptions and pricing is accurate.  However we are only human so apologise if there is an error.  If you notice anything that seems out of place, it would be awesome if you could let us know - rider@motocity.co.nz
